Sapão’s incredible journey—from earning his black belt at 21 under Ralph Gracie to becoming a multiple-time World and Brazilian National Champion—is an inspiration. Known for his impassable guard and connection-focused teaching style, Sapão has shifted from competition to sharing his knowledge and passion for the gentle art with students worldwide.
